HIPAA Compliant Hard Drive Destruction

HIPAA Compliant Hard Drive Destruction

More About HIPAA Compliant Hard Drive Destruction

While businesses require a Certificate of Destruction for hard drives to be HIPAA compliant, we take it to the next level. We do not provide you with a Certificate of Destruction that states only the total weight of the hard drives that were destroyed. Instead, we invested in the technology that enable us to give you a Certificate of Destruction with serial numbers, picture, along with the crush depth of each hard drive destroyed. To accomplish this task, we use the following technology:

HD-2XT Hard Drive & Tape Degausser - helps meet government and industry standards requiring complete erasure of sensitive data prior to disposal, including:

California Senate Bill 1386
DOD (Emergency Destruction)
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act)
HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act)
IRS 1075
NIST SP 800-88r1
PCI DSS 3.2 (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act)

PD-5 Hard Drive Destroyer

IRONCLAD Erasure Verification

Please Note: We pick-up the hard drives for destruction at your business. There is no minimum for this service. There is a charge of $45 for each hard drive destroyed and you will receive a Certificate of Destruction for hard drives to be HIPAA compliant.
