More About Essential Oils for First Aid to be offered at GC

McHenry, MD – Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development will be offering a course, Essential Oils for First Aid, at the main campus in McHenry. The course will be held on May 31, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Though this class you’ll enjoy learning about strategies for using essential oils and their benefits as a natural option to lessen seasonal allergy discomfort, help with heat trauma, relieve bug bites, ease head tension, handle cuts and scrapes, and much more.

The instructor for this course is Kearstin Hinebaugh. In her quest to reduce the toxic load for her and her family, she began researching various natural solutions. That research quickly led her to essential oils. Since uncovering their diverse applications and uses, she has become an essential oil enthusiast, learning everything she can about these gifts of the earth. These days she’s, admittedly, a bit obsessed with transforming her routines and making over her medicine, beauty and cleaning cabinets with oil-based products and wants to assist others in doing the same.

Course registration fee applies. To register for this course, contact Continuing Education and Workforce Development at 301-387-3069.
