Relay of Voices: A River Connected

Join husband and wife team, Tom Styrbicki and Victoria Bradford, for an afternoon of storytelling connecting voices of the Mississippi River. Drawn from first-hand accounts gathered while on their epic journey running from Headwaters to Gulf, these stories speak to a narrative we in Southwest Louisiana can relate to—how our lives are shaped by water. Bradford, a Lake Charles native now living in Minnesota, is uniquely poised to connect these stories of the Great River to her home state and community. Come and lend your own voice to this archive of stories linking water to home. Visit relayofvoices.com for a preview of this project.

Victoria Bradford Styrbicki, a Lake Charles native, is a Twin Cities-based choreographer, storyteller, and athlete. She works primarily in the fields of performance, video, and installation, and has exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Chicago Cultural Center, deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, and McColl Center for Art + Innovation, amongst other places.
