12:00 PM Depart for Romney, WV
1:00 PM “All Aboard” the Potomac Eagle, where you will sit back and enjoy a three hour train excursion. This trip is considered one of the most scenic trips in our country. The train travels past picturesque farms and old homes, some of which were built in the 1700’s. It then curves along the valley wall and onto a narrow “Valley of the Through”. It is here that you are able to view the river and the wildlife few other travelers can see. This unspoiled valley is the Eastern home of the American Bald Eagle.
So, be sure to bring along your camera and do not be
surprised to see these magnificent fliers soaring overhead. Lunch is served on the train.
