The Michigan City Chamber Music Festival would like to invite you to enjoy a free concert that will be held on Friday, June 22, 7:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Michigan City. This will be the first location of a a Midwest tour for a very special international group. The Classic Korea Good-Will Concert celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chicago.

The concert will be approximately 2 hours including an intermission. The public is invited to a reception following the concert.

Classic Korea Artists: Jeongeun Joo, soprano, Jennifer Kosharsky, mezzo-soprano, Simon Kyung Lee, tenor Jinuk Lee, baritone, Sojung Lee-Hong, piano, Sarah Yoon-Mayer, piano, Yoorhi Choi, violin, Bellissima Opera Guest Artists: Christine Steyer, soprano, Isabelle Meyer, soprano Samantha Gay, mezzo-soprano & Paul Geiger, Master of Ceremonies.

The performers include both Koreans and Americans presenting a mixture of Korean Folksongs (including Bird Song, Bak-Yon Falls, A-Ra-Ri-Yo) Korean Art Songs (Your Face and Golden Mountain) as well as Opera and Broadway favorites (Hansel and Gretel, Rigoletto, The Merry Widow and Jekyll & Hyde) and the Prelude for Violin and Piano by George Gershwin.

It is sponsored by Korea Foundation and hosted by Michigan City Chamber Music Festival and Leota Arts Management.
