More About Jammin with Save the Dunes

It's time again for Jammin with Save the Dunes!! Jammin is our signature fundraiser which brings hundreds of dunes lovers to beautiful Washington Park in Michigan City on the Lake Michigan shoreline. The festival features many local breweries, local wineries and local food.

Early Bird Special! When you purchase tickets between now and Feb 28, 2018 and receive $5 off the ticket price.

We are thrilled to announce this year’s band lineup.
Our evening headliner this year is Mr. Blotto! Mr. Blotto is a jam band from Chicago, Illinois. They blend hard rock, original rock, southern rock, folk music, and country rock.

The Tumbleweed Jumpers are a bristling, roaring, dancing, skipping, jamming folk-rock-Americana monster full of infectious melodies. Their music is influenced by rock, blues, folk and bluegrass, modern twists on Irish and early American folk tunes, and rabble-rousing sea shanties.

ClusterPluck mixes bluegrass, folk, rock, and country into a hearty sonic stew. Throwing tradition aside, they utilize banjo, guitar, bass, violin, mandolin, and dobro. This four-piece band from St. Louis, MO produces an up-beat, grassy energy with a little country jam for listeners of all ages to savor.

School of Rock Oak Park from Oak Park Illinois will start the day off with entertaining families and kids of all ages.

Robert Rolfe Feddersen will be playing on our second stage in the beer garden. Robert is a singer/songwriter from Chicago who currently resides in Crown Point. Robert’s songwriting style is very open, honest, reflective, humorous and topical. RRF was named best of 2016 on Chicago’s 93XRT Local Anesthetic.

All ages are welcome. Our event is FAMILY FRIENDLY. We will have kids activities from 4-8 PM. Kids under the age of 12 are free!

Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door. Food and beverages are available for an additional cost. Not only is this an amazing deal to see these bands; but, it supports a worthy cause! To learn more about Save the Dunes' efforts, click for details.
