All proceeds go to our Facility Animal-Assisted Therapy Canine
Saturday, June 16th, 2018 11 am – 2 pm
Participation fee: $5.00 suggested donation.
Track Walk with or without your pet. Please note all participants must clean up after their pets. All dogs must remain on a leash. Owners are responsible for the actions of their pets and will be asked to sign a safety waiver.
Adoption Day for those able to provide a furever home.
Vendors: PetSmart will have giveaways and free education. Community partners and services; items for sale for two and four-legged guests.
Special guest appearance by the Westchester County K9 Unit. Fun activities including a wash your own pet station and raffles.
Food will be available for purchase.
*Mission: Together with a newly formed 5th Grade Student Chapter of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) we are fundraising for the purchase of a highly-trained canine from Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities (ECAD). The goal of having a Facility AAT Canine is to build positive school culture, support our students and faculty to safely integrate beneficial effects of the human/animal bond, help students overcome specific challenges, enrich learning and to help all achieve their fullest potential.
**In the event of rain, walk portion will be cancelled and vendor Fair will move to the large gym and covered hallway.
