The annual Father’s Day Show is a tradition that was established in 1957. Featuring the area’s finest antique and classic cars, trucks, and special-interest autos, this show has always been regarded as one of the best car events of the year. The show attracts some of Ohio’s very best automobiles as well as over 6,000 spectators. It is presented on the lawns of elegant Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron. This is an event that isn’t to be missed by anyone with a love for great automobiles.
Stan Hywet Members can purchase tickets that are $12 for adults and $6 for guests ages 3-17. Non-members can purchase tickets at $16 for adults and $8 for guests ages 3-17. Children 2 and under are free. Tickets must be purchased online. Click for Details
Be sure to read all the details before you register! The show is for quality, stock, non-modified vehicles that are at least 25 years old. No kit cars. No modified vehicles. No hotrods. No customs. It isn't personal, we promise! This just isn't the show for those vehicles. Our goal is to provide a presentation of vehicles that are just like they would have been in the showrooms of their time. If you aren't sure, please ask!
Registration Fees are $24 for Display Only and $29 for Judged Vehicles.
SPECIAL FEATURE for 2023 will be AIR-COOLED automobiles. All air-cooled automobiles from Franklins to Volkswagens to Corvairs will be displayed together. Please register in Class SF. There will be no judging in this class but each participant will receive a commemorative plaque.
BACK AGAIN: Motorcycles! If they are antique, production, unmodified motorcycles we want them on the show field. The first 10 motorcycles to register online will be FREE!
ALWAYS: JUNE 1ST IS OUR DEADLINE unless we sell out first – NO EXCEPTIONS! Spaces are limited so register early.
Gates Open at 9:00am and CLOSE at 11:00am DO NOT BE LATE
Judging Begins at11:00am with Awards at 3:00pm
YOUR REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
2 admissions to the Show (only if you arrive in your vehicle) additional riders must purchase spectator tickets.
2 complimentary Manor House self-guided tours (show day only) & access to the eight historic gardens�
Live entertainment in the courtyard
Homes of Nature and Playgarden, a 5,000 square foot experience for children
Corbin Conservatory & many other outdoor exhibits throughout the estate.
There is NO TRAILER PARKING OR UNLOADING ON-SITE. Please go to Our Lady of the Elms Elementary School at 1290 W Market Street to park your trailer and drive your show vehicle from there.
Registrar reserves the right to move vehicles to appropriate class as needed. After review of all the entries to be judged per class, some redistribution of the classes may be necessary. This will be to better equalize the number for judging purposes. Only a limited number of vehicles in each class will be judged. Vehicles must be present at the awards ceremony to receive a trophy. Trophies are not mailed.
REGISTRATION CLOSES JUNE 1ST. CONFIRMATION POSTCARDS WILL BE SENT OUT AFTER JUNE 1ST. DO NOT LOSE YOUR POSTCARD because this is admission for you and your car and is to be displayed on your windshield upon arrival.
