More About FREE ESL Classes

For local residents and newcomers who want to learn conversational English in a comfortable and friendly setting, First Baptist Church of Hendersonville offers free ESL Classes. Each week on Tuesday mornings from 10 – 11:30 am and Wednesday evenings at 6:15 – 7:45 pm, adult and teenage students learn English as a Second Language with others from many countries and original languages.

Tuesday morning classes begin on August 6 and Wednesday evening classes begin on August 7 and follow the Sumner County school-year calendar until May 14, 2020. All classes include materials and small group instruction at various skill levels. Free children's activities are provided during the Wednesday evening sessions, and limited childcare for preschoolers is available on Tuesdays by registration.

Classes are held in the Weekley Building at First Baptist Church, 106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd., behind the YMCA and Holiday Inn Express in Hendersonville.
