More About CES presents the Maryland Symphony Orchestra
Music Director Elizabeth Schulze conducts the artists of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra in a rousing concert of masterworks featuring Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s spirited Symphony No. 29 in A Major, Igor Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite and Carl Maria von Weber’s Concertino for Clarinet in E-flat Major, Op. 26, featuring accomplished solo clarinetist, Beverly Butts.
Since its founding in 1982, the Maryland Symphony Orchestra’s influence and reputation have reached far beyond Western Maryland. Under the baton of Schulze, declared by The Washington Post as “a superb conductor,” MSO has become a first-class orchestra of exceptional artistic quality.
