Indiana Fallen Officer Blood Drive - Hamilton County

More About Indiana Fallen Officer Blood Drive - Hamilton County

The annual Fallen Officer Blood Drive takes place this year on April 25, 11am-3pm, at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. More than 400 law enforcement officers have been killed in the line of duty, from Constable Robert Murphy stabbed to death in 1824 to Deputy Jacob Pickett, our most recent hero. Please consider donating blood in memory of a fallen officer.

The Fallen Officer Blood Drive is spearheaded by Janice Starnes, survivor of Sgt. Daniel Starnes, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, EOW 7/10/2001. Donating blood is quick, relatively painless, and supports a wonderful cause. Plus, blood is replenished in the body so the donor doesn't really lose any.

Please go to click for details to sign up for the drive. If the date and/or times are not convenient, please consider visiting an Indiana Blood Center site and letting them know you are donating in honor of fallen officers.
