Spend Saturday evening watching a movie under the stars. All movies shown are G or PG rated and are subject to change depending upon availability. Movies will begin 15 minutes after sunset. Bring your beach chair, blanket, grab popcorn and a drink from the North Myrtle Beach Lions Club.

The Recreation Division sponsors a wide range of activities, events, and festivals. The activities include year-round instructional classes for all ages in areas such as fitness, art, dance, crafts, and some sports. Examples of special city-wide events and festivals include the Sounds of Summer Concert Series, annual Easter Egg Hunt, and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival.

Recreation facilities located at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center include two gymnasiums, an aerobics/dance room, and 6 classrooms.
