But when Jimmy draws a blank in art class during the last week of school, it turns out Pete is the perfect pal to help him out. Together, they set out on a mission to help Jimmy conquer second grade art, and along the way, they both learn a little something new about inspiration. Join Jimmy and Pete on an adventure of friendship, all the way to Paris and back in a VW Bus!

More About this Event Poster: Lorain County Community College

LCCC is Focused on Student Success
Lorain County Community College (LCCC) was named as an Aspen Institute Top 150 U.S. Community College – the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance among America’s community colleges. This follows it being named a Leader College of Distinction by Achieving the Dream in 2019 and the top community college in the country for Excellence in Student Success by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) in 2018. According to a recent report on three-year success measures from the Ohio Department of Higher Education, LCCC's success rate of 60 percent is higher than the state average of 51 percent. Additionally, more Lorain County high school students are taking advantage of College Credit Plus options to earn college credit while in high school. In fact, 43 percent of all Lorain County high school seniors graduate with some college credit – saving families $6.5 million. LCCC is also one of only three community colleges in Ohio that have been approved to offer an applied bachelor’s degree. Students can now earn a bachelor’s of applied science degree in microelectronic manufacturing – with local jobs waiting for them. LCCC is important to the community as 1 in 4 Lorain County residents has attended LCCC and more than 85 percent of our graduates work in Northeast Ohio. For more information about LCCC, visit www.lorainccc.edu.
