Being There for the Bereaved

Here’s help for those who feel helpless in the face of a grieving friend or relative. Facilitator Michael Crowdes will provide us with the tools we need to be a support to the bereaved. Topics include learning about different kinds of grief, practical ways to help, and what to say (and what not to say) to someone who is grieving. The goal is to educate and empower participants so they can bring comfort and strength to those in their lives who are going through hard times. Cost: $30.
