For Black History Month, Black River Technical College is partnering with the Eddie Mae Herron Center to have Dennis Biddle, former professional Negro League player, speak. This free event will be held Thursday, February 22 at 10 a.m in the Randolph County Development Center at Black River Technical College in Pocahontas, AR. Mr. Biddle is originally from Arkansas. As a 17 year old he was the youngest to play in the Negro Baseball League. He was a pitcher for the Chicago American Giants.
