The mission of Pennsylvania’s Department of Banking and Securities is to regulate financial services and work to ensure consumers and businesses are well-informed about the marketplace. Our Financial Services for Consumers and Business staff works to help consumers and investors protect and grow their money through an Investor Education and Consumer Outreach program. We work with state and local government agencies, service providers, community and trade organizations, the General Assembly, the military community, schools, and other partners to help Pennsylvanians across the commonwealth. Our programs and presentations are FREE and non-commercial. Our Consumer Services Office helpline (1-800-PA-BANKS or1-800-600-0007) provides free help to anyone with a question, concern, or complaint about financial services, transactions, or products.
