More About Sacramento Orchid Society
Are you drawn to the beauty of the natural world? Perhaps you have a discerning eye for the unique and the unusual. Or maybe you just appreciate the myriad of colors and patterns that flowers come in and are looking for something special.
Here at the Sacramento Orchid Society we welcome those fascinated with the diversity that is orchids. We hold a monthly meeting on the 1st Wednesdays of the month that is free to all to attend. At these meetings we have an expert in the Orchid World give a talk ranging from how to care for them, expeditions to see them, and exciting cutting edge breeding being done with them. Our membership brings blooming plants from their homes and collections to be put on display at our meetings, inviting others to ask questions and inquire. We even hold a raffle that you can buy tickets for so that you too have the chance to come away with your very own jewel of the natural world.
Come on by and visit us the 1st Wednesdays of most months at 7:00pm at 1831 Howe Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825.
