More About St. Paul In-Person Sunday Service

Join us for in-person Sunday Worship Services each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (Gates will open at 8:30 a.m. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m.).

Save time by registering online each week in advance. In-person registration will be available on Sunday mornings.

A Face Mask must be worn on Campus at all times, even if you have taken the COVID-19 vaccine.

Our highest priority is to keep everyone safe, so we are beginning with a weekly registration process to help with limited seating capacity. Services will available both in-person and online.

In-Person General Assembly Sunday School is now available for Youth and Adults at 9:00-9:40 a.m. prior to In-Person Sunday Service. Registration completed for In-Person Sunday Service will also be used for attending In-Person General Assembly Sunday School. All other Sunday School, Bible Study, and other classes will remain virtual until further notice.

We encourage everyone to engage in the manner that is most comfortable for you and your family. If you don’t feel safe, aren’t quite ready to return, or if people in your household are vulnerable, please continue to join us online on our website, and on our Youtube & Facebook pages.

If you plan to attend a Sunday Service in person, here are some things to keep in mind:

GENERAL INFORMATION
Notices & Updates: In the event there are changes that postpone returning, please stay tuned for the latest updates posted on our website (stpaulsac.org) and social media pages. Those who have registered to attend service will receive a email notification if there are changes.

Registration Process for In-Person Service: In effort obtain the most recent Health Screening Questions, Registration will open weekly on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. for the following Sunday's Service.

Temperature Checks/Screening:

· Everyone entering in the Sanctuary must be screened.

· The screening will take place prior to entrance.

· We will take the temperature of everyone, (In the event the temperature registers over 100.4, a process has been designed to protect the confidentiality of the member or visitor).

Attire: Casual Dress welcomed.

Face Masks/Shields: We are requiring everyone to wear a mask at all times, when they are on the Church Campus, regardless of if you have or have not been vaccinated. The CDC recommends wearing masks as a positive way to prevent spreading COVID-19.

Offering: We will not pass collection baskets during the service; however, they will be positioned for drop off if you desire to give using an offering envelope upon entry and exit of the sanctuary. We encourage members and guests to take advantage of electronic giving options, even when in the sanctuary. Visit Click for Details , or text the word “Give” to (916) 579-7280.

Questionnaire: When registering online, you will be asked to acknowledge questions included in a Health Screening Questionnaire.

Children & Youth: There will be no separate in-person services for children & youth until further notice. We will only be offering one worship experience.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER:
The in-person worship service will begin promptly at 10:00 am. (Gates will open at 8:30 a.m. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m.).
Face masks must be worn at all times for your safety and the safety of others. Face shields will not be allowed unless they are accompanied by a mask.
You may continue to pay your tithe and offering at Click for Details via mail or place your offering in a basket as you enter.
Childcare, youth and children's services will not be offered. However, your children may attend service with you and will need to be included in your registration. Your children must be seated with you at all times.
Once you register, you will receive an email confirmation for you and the members of your household that you registered. Bring the confirmation with you (print or mobile) to gain entry into the Church.
To ensure proper social distancing according to CDC guidelines, seats will not be reserved. An usher will guide you and your household members to your seats. Household members are allowed to sit together. If you and your household members arrive separately, you will be seated separately.
We will not hold the traditional “meet & greet” portion of the service, and we ask that you do not shake hands or hug others.
OUR WORSHIP EXPERIENCE:
PRE-REGISTRATION:

· Pre-registration will be available here on Eventbrite. Limited space available.

· If you are unable to use Eventbrite, please contact the church office at 916-737-7070.

POINTS OF ENTRY AND EXIT:

· As we adhere to a contact-less environment protocol, how we enter and exit the Sanctuary will be changed.

· All attendees will enter in the doors identified.

· At the end of the worship experience, exiting will be executed under the direction of the ushers.

CHECK-IN PROTOCOL:

· Be ready to provide your code on a device or paper copy.

· The purpose of registering all attendees is to have a system of contact tracing.

SEATING:

· The ushers will be seating all members.

· It is important that the Sanctuary is filled in accordance with safety guidelines, (“Same household” members must sit together).

· If you have family, but not in the same household, social distancing will be required.

OUR WORSHIP EXPERIENCES:

Because safety is a major focus, here are a few things that will look and feel different:

· Scripture Reading: Scriptures will be read by a minister.

· Altar Call: Congregants will be asked to remain in seats and not hold hands unless part of the same household.

· Tithes and Offering: Attendees will be asked to drop offering in a basket as you enter or exit the Sanctuary. You may continue to pay your tithe and offering at online at Click for Details

· Invitation to Christian Discipleship: As people accept Christ or want to join the church body, prayer room counselors will take individuals to the choir room Sanctuary which allows for the social distancing requirements.

· Benediction: Pastor or designee will close with prayer and the benediction. The post service greeting with Pastor will be suspended until further notice.

POST SERVICE DEPARTURE:

· Please follow social distancing protocols and mask covering as you exit the Sanctuary and return to your vehicles.

· Recognizing the desire to meet and greet people we must remember all safety protocols.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I HAVE TO REGISTER TO ATTEND?

Yes. For your safety and health, we must follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and limit the number of members who can attend.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER EACH WEEK?

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT CHURCH FOR THE IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICE?

Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. for the 10:00 a.m. Service (we will stream this service live).

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER IF MY SPOUSE REGISTERS?

During the registration process, you or your spouse can register members living in your household who wish to attend. You will need to include each person’s first and last name in your household who will attend the in-person worship.

IS THERE RESERVED SEATING OR CAN I CHOOSE WHERE I WANT TO SIT ONCE, I ARRIVE?

No. To ensure proper social distancing, seats will not be reserved. An usher will guide you and your household members to your seats. Household members are allowed to sit together. If you and your household members arrive separately, you will be seated separately.

WILL THERE BE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE SEATING?

Yes. An usher will guide you to the appropriate place in the sanctuary.

WILL THERE BE SEPARATE PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH?

No. Childcare, youth and children’s programs will not be offered during worship services. However, your children may attend service with you and will need to be included in your registration. If you don’t think your children can maintain social distancing inside the sanctuary, we suggest that you view the Sunday morning broadcast at home.

CAN NON-MEMBERS ATTEND THE IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICE?

Yes, our worship service is for members and non-members. Service is open to vaccinated and un-vaccinated.

HOW WILL PARKING BE HANDLED OR CAN I PARK ANYWHERE?

First row closest to the church will be reserved for First Time Attendees. The remaining rows are open parking.

WILL HANDICAPPED PARKING BE AVAILABLE?

Yes. Please follow the instructions of the parking lot attendants.

AM I REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK?

Yes. Face masks and social distancing give you the best possible chance of not contracting the COVID-19 virus. A face mask must be worn at all times, even if you have taken the COVID-19 vaccine. Face shields are not allowed unless accompanied by a mask.

WILL FACE MASKS BE AVAILABLE AT THE CHURCH?

No. To limit the frequency of in-person contact, we ask that you provide your own face mask.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS IN WORSHIP ACTIVITIES—SUCH AS COMMUNION, SINGING, OFFERING, OR GREETING—DURING SERVICE?

We will not hold the traditional “meet & greet” portion of the service, and we ask that you do not shake hands or hug others.

Clapping, raising your hands are allowed. But face masks must be worn at all times.

WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DOES St. Paul HAVE IN PLACE?

To maximize your protection and reduce the risk of you contracting the COVID-19 virus, the following safety measures that are in place include, but are not limited to the following:

- Face masks are required at all times.

- Social distancing will take place when entering and exiting the building and while seated.

- Hand sanitizer stations are located in the Worship Center.

The Worship Center shall be cleaned and disinfected, including disinfection of heavy transit areas and high-touch surfaces (e.g., doorknobs, bathrooms, microphones, shared instruments).

If you test positive for the COVID-19 virus after attending a service, we ask that you contact the church office at 916-737-7070.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A SMARTPHONE OR ACCESS TO EMAIL OR THE INTERNET?

AM I LIMITED IN THE NUMBER OF HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS TO BRING TO THE SATURDAY IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICE?

No. You must, however, include each household member’s first/last name and email during the registration process. Please keep in mind that the sanctuary capacity has significantly been reduced for safety precautions.
