More About ELECTION DAY

On June 28th, the General Primary Election will be held across the State of Illinois. This is the opportunity to cast a vote for either the Democratic or Republican candidates for Federal, state and county offices who will be on the General Election ballot in November as well as for local officials and public questions. Across Lake County, there are 569 candidates on the ballot. In addition, three local units of government have referenda that will be on the ballot.

Many voting sites across the county have changed. All registered voters should have received a new Voter’s Certificate of Registration Card that identifies their election day polling place and their congressional, state senate, state representative, and county board district.
