Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Hammond Public Works invite all hot rod and custom car enthusiasts to join us at Wolf Lake Memorial Park at 2324 Calumet Ave on Sunday, July 22 from noon until 3 p.m. for the 15th Annual Festival of the Lakes Rod & Custom & Bike Show. The event is sponsored by Andersons Auto Parts (located in Hammond). Entry is $15 per vehicle; registration is from 9 a.m. - noon. There will be a DJ, dash plaques, door prizes, awards, and concessions. There are 19 class registrations this year! Call 219.853.6431 for more information or click for details.
