Celebrate Schererville Parade is BACK and ready to show we MEAN BUSINESS!!

Last year we wore our hero capes high and our face masks tight to prove our Heroics!

Schererville has flipped the script this year. We know how bad to the bone we are! NOW LETS SHOW THEM!!!

We encourage all parade attenders and attendee to dress the part!

DRESS UP AS YOUR FAVORITE VILLAIN and strut that Rotten to the "Core-ness (Disney Descendants of Course:) or show your BADNESS through and through!!!

The parade route starts on Roman Rd & Joliet and culminates at Redar Park.

***Road Closure Information:

SCHERERVILLE, IN – On Saturday, June 16, the Schererville Parks and Recreation Department, in coordination with the Town of Schererville, will host the 27
th Annual Celebrate Schererville Parade.

This year’s parade theme will be “Bad to the Bone” and Disney Villains. The parade begins at the intersection of Joliet Street and Roman Road at 5:00 PM.
Due to the parade, road blocks will be set up on all side streets in and around Joliet Street and Austin Avenue starting at 4:30 PM. Austin Avenue will be closed at U.S. 30 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In addition, Joliet Street will be closed from the intersection of Joliet Street and U.S. 30 to the intersection
of Joliet Street and Austin Avenue during the parade.

Furthermore, there will be several streets around the parade route that will have parking restrictions on Saturday, June 16. No parking hours on these streets will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Streets with no parking include: Joliet Street, Roman Road, 67th Avenue, 68th Avenue, Kennedy Avenue, Austin Avenue, and Gregory Street. Streets with no parking on one (1) side of the street include: Wilhelm
Street, Lake Street, Grant Street, South Park Avenue, North Road, Redar Drive, and Schafer Drive. All residents or businesses on these streets are asked to have customers or patrons move their vehicles by 3:00 PM to be in compliance with these restrictions.
