Cedar Creek Family Golf Center

Located on Route 231 1/4 miles east of Route 41. Exit Interstate 65 at Route 231 and go west toward Crown Point. Follow Rt. 231 around the Crown Point square then about four miles west. Park opens at 8 a.m. and has various season closing times.

Cressmoor Country Club

This flat course is easy to walk, but accuracy is still important because of its narrow fairways. The signature hole is #7, a 370-yard, par 4, requiring a well-positioned tee shot, and then an approach around a lake to the green. Water hazards (lakes) come into play on at least three separate occasions.

Built in 1926, Indian Ridge Country Club in Hobart Indiana has provided Northwest Indiana golfers with a fun, challenging, and friendly place to enjoy the game of golf. The layout is a basic, old school golf course design. It has a variety of long and short holes with just enough trees and sand to keep it challenging. Due to the sand-based soil, the course drains very well. When other courses are too wet, Indian Ridge is most likely open for play.

Beechwood Golf Course is a beautiful 18 hole championship golf course designed by William Diddle. Beechwood was built in the early 1930’s and donated to the City of LaPorte, Indiana by the Fox Family.

Briar Leaf Golf Club

Built on a farm in the 1970s, our 35-year-old classical layout has been undergoing numerous improvements each year that have made Briar Leaf a favorite Michiana golf destination.
Briar Leaf offers four sets of tees allowing players to enjoy the course from wherever they choose to play. While the course is scenic and challenging from the forward and middle tees, the back tees (slope rating 133) will give the low handicapper all they want in a great test of golf.

Legacy Hills Golf Club is in the unique position of being both one of Indianas oldest golf coures, and one of Indiana’s newest golf courses. The course was originally established in 1904, and has changed ownership several times. Most recently, the investment group Beacon Hills Golf Club, inc. purchased the course, along with a considerable amount of land across the street. This land has since been converted into the new back nine, and features many beautiful and scenic lots. The back nine is very well designed and features some of the finest in Indiana golf!

Scherwood Golf

Scherwood is located in downtown Schererville, Indiana occupying 165 acres. The 27 hole facility consists of an 18 hole – par 71 – 6900 yard regulation course, and a 9 hole – par 30 – 1600 yard executive course. Both courses offer blue grass fairways and large penn cross bent grass greens. The course is generally flat with elevated greens and water coming into play on most holes.
Scherwood is semi-private and offers large men and ladies organizations. Yearly memberships, both weekday and full time, are available on a limited basis.
Updates to the course have been made to create extra challenges and maintain a fresh new look. One of the most recent updates was the addition of two new holes to create room for a new modern practice facility.
