Arts Without Borders Organization, in association with Anga Kala Dance Company and Anga Kala Kathak Academy, brings to the Kathak dancers of Pittsburgh a wonderful opportunity to enrich and expand their understanding as a Kathak dancer. This in-person workshop will familiarize dancers with the nuances of Indian classical music, as facilitated by Indian music composer, producer, musician and teacher Mr. Rushi Vakil. Learn through graphical illustrations and pre-recorded audio/video demonstrations the concepts and interesting theories that shape the world of Indian classical music and dance.
