More About Digital Literacy Workshop, Somerset County Library
These classes are offered the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 9 AM to 10 AM. With the Northstar Digital Literacy series, classes cover computer basics, how to use the Internet, how to use e-mail and how to use Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point. We also cover using Social Media, how to effectively search for information and how to do a job search. See our Facebook page for specific upcoming workshops. These classes prepare people to pass the Northstar Digital Literacy Assessment if interested, but skills learned are useful in everyday life and on the job.
