Danbury Concert Chorus: A Celebration of Danbury and the Bard
The Danbury Concert Chorus, under the direction of guest conductor John Cuk, will perform a concert featuring musical tributes to Marian Anderson and Charles Ives. Also on the program will be works by Verdi, Mendelssohn, Cohen, Jaramillo, and selections from George Shearing's "Songs and Sonnets" based on the sonnets of William Shakespeare.
Admission to the concert is free. Donations are gratefully accepted at the door.
