Dayton Dance Initiative is an independent collective of Dayton's top dance artists, working together to create and collaborate on unique, world class dance performances. For our inaugural season back in May of 2019, we titled our performance “Making Moves” as we began the work to expand creative opportunities for our dancers. Now, in our fourth season, we’re returning to the name that started it all. Our annual summer performance Making Moves will take both artist and audience on a journey, celebrating how Dayton Dance Initiative has flourished and expanded, as we premiere 8 brand new works by returning and new choreographers. Experience dance up close and personal at the intimate PNC Arts Annex in downtown Dayton. Each show is followed by a Q&A with the artists. Come be moved at Making Moves!
