Need help with your garden? Looking for landscaping ideas or do you just love flowers? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, please join us at the Lake County Master Gardeners Garden Walk 2019, “ A Day in the Gardens” on Saturday, July 13th from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Eight garden tours in Hobart, Merrillville, Crown Point, St. John, Schererville, and Griffith will be hosted by Master Gardeners to answer any questions.
Tickets are available now for $10.00 at the following locations:
•Artful Garden, 118 S. Main St., Crown Point;
•Elzinga Farm Market, 1587 Joliet St., Dyer;
•Johnson’s Garden Center, 8960 E. Ridge Road, Hobart;
•Niemeyer’s Landscape, 810 N. Indiana Ave., Crown Point;
•Walt’s Food Center, 1218 Sheffield Ave., Dyer.

The Garden Walk 2019 is one of three fundraisers, along with a Plant Sale and Symposium, hosted by the Lake County Master Gardeners each year. Master Gardener volunteers are available to assist fellow gardeners of all levels of experience to plan and carryout a successful garden. The mission of the Master Gardener Program is “Helping Others Grow”.

The Lake County Master Gardeners Association, Inc is a 501 (c )3 organization. All proceeds fund the group’s activities including providing local grants for Lake County community garden projects and scholarships for Lake County college students studying horticulture majors. the group is part of the
Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service which is an equal access/equal opportunity institution.
