More About SLP Community Food Security Task Force meetings: LUNCH at the Library

Equity & Resiliency, Climate & Community = Food Security
Collective conversations and efforts to act!

Each 1st Saturday and 1st Thursday of the month we meet for Lunch at the Library to discuss and take action regarding Food Security in SLP.
Thursdays are for those whose work involves Food Security. Saturdays are for those whose work does not allow for a mid-week meeting. Saturdays are a bit longer and the first hour is to catch folks up with Thursday's meeting notes, the second 2 hours are for action planning and delegation of tasks.

If you can't make either, feel free to say "interested" and we'll get meeting minutes and information on how to help out to you!

Our welcoming conversations are aimed at work on food justice issues including:
urban agriculture,
environmental sustainability and
school nutrition.

Our vision is to have well established urban food systems that uses appropriate technology, eliminates hunger and to reaches strong resiliency and wellbeing in St. Louis Park.

1. To grow/solidify our network of individuals and organizations dedicated to increasing environmental wellbeing and support for healthy and equitable food access across St. Louis Park.

2. Developing a long term vision for St. Louis Park and creating plan of action with organized sub-committee systems that will ensure the capacity for community engagement and action.
