More About Jewish Genetic Diseases - It's Not Just Tay-Sachs

Temple Beth El will hold a program on Jewish genetic diseases. Representatives from the Jewish Genetic Disease Consortium will present and answer questions.

Whether you are single, dating, married, already have a child or planning to add to your family, you should seriously consider genetic screening if you have any Jewish ancestry. It is not just Tay-Sachs. Today, there are carrier tests for many more diseases of concern to people of Jewish heritage.

The program is free of charge and open to the community. Individuals with children or grandchildren of childbearing age are also encouraged to attend.

Please RSVP by April 15 by visiting tinyurl.com/jgd422 or by contacting the TBE office at (203) 322-6901 or office@tbe.org. Refreshments will be served.
