Join ‘Chopped’ Champion and Co-Founder of The Secret Ingredient Girls, Chef Silvia Baldini at the chef’s table, to boost your kitchen skills while building a repertoire of vibrant meals. Silvia’s recipes rely on nourishing ingredients that naturally strengthen our bodies and minds: leafy greens, robust root vegetables, power-packed fruits, energy-giving whole grains, combined with basic pantry essentials and sustaining proteins.

Learn how to organize, prepare and present superbly-nuanced dishes using nutritionally-dense seasonal ingredients. The curriculum includes family and guest-pleasing quick and simple meals that combine Italian and Mediterranean cooking principles with health-enhancing and flavor-profile elevating spices.

Classes cover essentials to progressively-advanced techniques, with each class a combination of demonstrations, tastings, and hands-on cooking.

Chef Baldini
Known as an expert in traditional Mediterranean cooking, Silvia Baldini was born and raised in Turin, Italy. She moved to California at 17 and graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Following a distinguished and award-winning career as an advertising art director on Madison Avenue, Chef Baldini pursued culinary training at ICC in NYC, and Cordon Bleu in London. She worked at Michelin-star kitchens in Europe including the Ritz Carlton in London, and Ottolenghi, and then established her own creative food group named Strawberry and Sage, and became the first professional female chef in Connecticut to win Food Network’s much-heralded cooking show “Chopped”. Chef Baldini returned to appear and compete as a ‘Chopped Champion’ and to ‘Beat Bobby Flay.’

Chef Baldini hosts a cooking series on FabFItFun.com with over seven million viewers, is lead chef, recipe developer and spokesperson for Realeats.com, and is co-owner and founder of The Secret Ingredient Girls. Her food, menus and recipes have appeared in Food and Wine, Bon Appetit, Parents Magazine, TeenVogue, Reader’s Digest, Thrillist, Refinery29, Country Magazine, Saveur, Martha Stewart, Cherry Bombe, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Independent. Chef Baldini has made television numerous television appearances on CNN, ABC, and Dr. Oz, and is a frequent food industry keynote speaker and panelist. She is member of the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance, the Toklas Society, and the proud mother of two beautiful and always-hungry children.
