More About TEDxNatick Seeks Speaker Nominations

Are you interested in applying to speak at TEDxNatick 2020 or do you know someone who would like to apply? We're looking for speakers to present on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Our daylong event will be held in Natick High School's 800 seat Performing Arts Auditorium.

The theme of TEDxNatick is "Stories That Inspire"-- so whether the subject of your talk is science, technology, design, entertainment, psychology, community engagement, or individual achievement, your talk should present a new idea or perspective that's important, interesting and inspiring to a broad audience.

Our speaker selection process consists of three steps:
1. Prospective speakers complete and submit an application online at click for details
2. We'll review the applications and invite some individuals to live preliminary auditions in late September and October. (We'll contact each applicant regardless of outcome.)
3. A small group from the preliminary auditions will be invited for "call-backs" later in the fall. Based on these callbacks, we'll select our final 10-12 speakers.

If you're selected, you'll be matched with an experienced coach who'll work with you one-on-one to develop your content and fine-tune your presentation. In addition, there will be several live rehearsals in December and January.
