With Prof. Gary Hylander on April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1 & 8. The class runs for 6 Tuesdays and starts at 10:30 AM. This year, 2018, marks the 50th anniversary of one of the most tumultuous years in American history. The year 1968, in actuality, lasted over sixteen months. Join us as we examine among other events the following:
The Great Society, The Tet Offensive, The Assassinations of MLK and RFK, My Lai Massacre, "Bring Us Together:" The Election of 1968 and Reading the 60s. Prof. Gary Hylander earned his Ph.D. at Boston College and is an independent scholar who specializes as a Presidential Historian. Cost of the class is $35.00.
