More About Green Cleaning Program

A free, family-friendly program about Green Cleaning, with hands-on activity, is being hosted by the Summit Area GreenFaith Circle. After light refreshments, a panel discussion with Q&A will be followed by browsing of presenter tables and a “Make and Take” area where participants will make their own green cleaning products. (Please bring a clean jar or bottle.)

Guest speakers will include:
- Vivian Panou, Director of Special Events and Programs at Earth Friendly Products maker ECOS
- Janette Filbert Spiezio, Owner of Sustainable Haus, LLC, a Westfield-based company that makes and sells upcycled and non-toxic home goods and cleaning supplies, and
- Adam Palmer, Education Associate, Great Swamp Watershed Association, who teaches about water quality and how to protect our water supply.

The Summit Area GreenFaith Circle (click for details) is a consortium of faith communities from Summit and Chatham who have joined forces to educate and advocate for Environmental Stewardship. Member congregations assert that caring for Creation is a core principle in our shared human experience and that interfaith cooperation enhances our community.
