More About Twofold: Lake Charles Legends

"Twofold: Lake Charles Legends" exhibit showcases the contributions of fifteen of the City’s most notable figures including world-class cardiac surgeon Dr. Michael DeBakey and nationally known R&B and jazz singer/pianist Nellie Lutcher. It was curated by the Arts and Humanities Council of Southwest Louisiana board member, Meagan Green and will open with this reception and be open through April 10.

Let's bring together the community to show our pride, respect, and love for the people who represented it well; Then and now. This opening reception will also be combined with "The Evolution of Black Hair," by Alicia Johnson Black. Refreshments will be served.

"Twofold: Lake Charles Legends," is just as much about celebrating the local artist of Lake Charles, as it is about highlighting our rich history.
