Farmstead Christmas

Farmstead Christmas

More About Farmstead Christmas

Create special memories during this delightful, down-home holiday event that’s trimmed with tasty traditions, whimsical touches, and the simple gifts of a historic farmstead.

Uncover the mystery of the Remick gnomes, try their favorite treat and go on a gnome scavenger hunt.

Visit Doc and Marion Remick’s apartment to enjoy vintage food samples, music and a 1950’s-style Christmas tree.

Greet a baby calf and read him a seasonal story, meet all of the farm animals in their seasonal settings and help decorate the Cattle Barn Christmas Tree.

Go on a wagon shuttle ride, sip a cup of hot cocoa and see a gingerbread farm.

Watch an open-hearth cooking demo, sample a roasted-chestnut spread and learn about and try medicinal elixirs at the winter Apothecary.

Make and take home a seasonal ornament and pine cone bird feeder and decorate your very own sugar cookie. Remick-Made gift items will be for sale in the museum store.

Samples and gift items are available while supplies last; some activities are dependent upon weather-related conditions.
