50th Anniversary of Apollo 11

More About 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11

John Wolfram, Navy Frogman/SEAL and UPCI Minister, will be stopping in Tucson while on his speaking tour. John was the first frogman in the water and heavily involved in the rescue mission of the Apollo 11 splashdown on July 29th, 1969. When looking at videos or pictures of the mission, he is easily distinguished by the “hippie” flowers stuck to his wet suit.

Mr. Wolfram will be displaying memorabilia, rare photos, samples of the Kapton gold foil that covered the capsule, his book Splashdown – The Rescue of a Navy Frogman, and a presentation of this national event. He will also be sharing his personal story of how during the time of him rescuing others, the Lord was working on rescuing him. He helped rescue national heroes and a revival in California helped rescue him. He had a Purple heart from Vietnam, but a new heart from Jesus saved him from drugs, alcohol and attempted suicide. Hear about his Missionary efforts now to fight for the souls of the Vietnamese people to know Jesus. It is an amazing story!
