Perry County Council of the Arts (PCCA) will kick off its annual Artisan Marketplace holiday shopping exhibition at PCCA Gallery, One S. Second Street, Newport on Friday, October 18, with an opening reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Start your holiday shopping, meet local artists, and enjoy light refreshments and a fun evening out.

Running through January 11, 2020, Artisan Marketplace is a special holiday shopping exhibition, featuring locally and regionally made fine art and handcrafted items by emerging and professional artists. Shop for unique, handmade holiday gifts, including handcrafted jewelry, ornaments, pottery and ceramics, woodworking, fiber art, glass, original paintings and photographs, and more.

This holiday display is open to the public and makes unique art accessible by offering items in many price ranges and styles. PCCA Gallery’s holiday shopping hours be in effect from Tuesday, Oct. 22 to Saturday, Dec. 21, and are as follows: Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
