More About Dylan Hamme, Violinist

At age eleven, Dylan Hamme was featured on NBC’s Today Show performing with violinist Joshua Bell.

That same year, he performed as soloist with the Bergen Sinfonia, along with former New York Philharmonic violinist Alan Schiller. He made his official concerto debut in 2015 with David Gilbert and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.

Dylan is currently a violin student of Catherine Cho at The Juilliard School Pre-College Division. This past fall, he was assistant concertmaster of The Juilliard Pre-College Symphony. He attends Bergen Academies High School of Visual and Performing Arts.

His many prizes and honors include first prize in the 2016 Manhattan School of Music Pre-College Chamber Music Competition. Also in 2016, he was awarded the Patinka Kopec Endowed Precollege Violin Scholarship. The following year, he won a bronze award in the 2017 International Virtuoso Competition (IVC).

The concert, hosted by the church is free, but a $10 donation is suggested. Reception and opportunity to meet the artist will follow.
