First Presbyterian Church of Verona, NJ will present two Sacred Choral Workshop Sessions with world-renown composer, pianist, and conductor, Joseph M. Martin on Saturday, April 21st at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm and a Secular Community Concert with Joe and his wife, Sue Martin on Sunday, April 22nd at 3:00 pm.

Recognized throughout the United States for his many choral compositions, both sacred and secular, Joseph’s music is published by numerous publishing houses. Over 2,000 compositions are currently in print, and the list continues to grow. His music can be heard in such diverse locations as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City; Constitution Hall in Washington, DC; the Lawrence Welk Theatre in Branson, Missouri; St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City; and in hundreds of worship services in churches across the United States and Canada. He continues to surprise audiences with the variety and scope of his compositions and arrangements.

The workshop will consist of two sessions, each which will feature different lessons and music. Session 1 is from 9:00 - 11:30 (sign in begins at 8) and session 2 fro 1:00 - 3:30 (sign in begins at noon). Session are $25 each prior to March 20th (at which time the cost of each session increases to $30) If attending both sessions you may want to bring a bag lunch and drink. Tables and chairs will be provided. A list of local restaurants and sandwich shops will also be available on the day of the event.
