Union Symphony League is investing in youth, Union County and beyond. Any students age 7–18 who are able to attend the concert may have a free ticket provided by USL, up to 300 tickets available, first-come first-serve. Free admittance also for children six and under.
A big thank you goes to Craig Retzlaff and the Central Academy of Technology and Arts. CATA students, Charles Schomp and Gigi Smith, will perform science demonstrations during the concert.
What goes into making sounds? How do all of the different instruments in the orchestra work? What are the things that turn the science of noise into beautiful music? Come explore the inner scientific workings of the symphony in this family-friendly concert. We will explore vibration, pitch, amplification, and much more through the music of greats like Handel, Tchaikovsky, Copland, and all of their friends!
