More About Eighth Annual UNICEF Golf Classic

UNICEF USA is proud to announce the eighth annual UNICEF Golf Classic on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the beautiful Manhattan Woods Golf Club in West Nyack, New York. Players and spectators alike will gather to enjoy a great day of golf while supporting the UNICEF mission. Since its inception in 2012, the Golf Classic has been one UNICEF USA’s key fundraisers, raising over $1.65 million dollars.

UNICEF works around the world to put children first so that all kids — no matter where they are born — can have safe and healthy childhoods, and that no child dies from a preventable cause. Funds raised at the event will go towards UNICEF’s lifesaving work.

As an exciting element to the UNICEF Golf Classic, Caryl Stern, President and CEO of UNICEF USA, along with the committee will recognize Edward G. Lloyd, Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer of UNICEF USA and founder of the Golf Classic, for his many years of outstanding service and dedicate the event in his honor as he plans for retirement.

Honorary Chairs: Paul Casey, PGA Tour Player and Danielle Kang, LPGA Tour Player
Co-Chairs: Phil Birsh, Michael Sasso, Christian Simonds and Lou Switzer
Host Committee: Mercer Cook, Blaise Ferrera, Joseph R. Giambo, Bryant Gumbel, Rob Habeeb, Téa Leoni, Brittany Letto, Edward G. Lloyd, Morais C. Miranda, Ania Rachwal, John E. Simone, Faizal Sheriff and David Feinberg
