More About Back 2 School Extravaganza

The Town of Lake Park will host its annual “Back 2 School Extravaganza” on Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lake Park Town Hall. This year’s event will be drive-up only, and pre-registration is required.

Lake Park’s Back 2 School Extravaganza will provide students in grades K-12 with a free backpack filled with essential school supplies they will need for the upcoming school year. In addition, attendees will receive information about educational programs, health care, food assistance and many more resources that support academic success.

The Town chose to hold this year’s Back 2 School Extravaganza as a drive-up event in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. “It has always been the Town’s priority to make sure our special events occur in an environment that is safe for our residents, staff and volunteers, and holding the Back 2 School Extravaganza as a drive-up enables us to help protect everyone involved,” said Town Manager John D’Agostino.

This year’s event sponsors include Academy Health Solutions, Artists of Palm Beach County, Bridges of Lake Park, Club 100 Charities, Earl Stewart Toyota, Flagler Bank, Lake Park Public Library, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office District 10, Trader Joe’s Palm Beach Gardens, and Transformation Hair, Inc.

The Back 2 School Extravaganza will take place rain or shine at Lake Park Town Hall, 535 Park Avenue, Lake Park. For more information or to register, please contact the Town of Lake Park Special Events Department at 561-840-0160 or visit click for details
