John H. Balch, RPh, President of The PharmaCare Network, recently announced CBD products will be offered in PharmaCare retail pharmacy locations by month’s end.

CBD products are sold over the counter at pharmacies across the country, and currently in our community. While people see the terms “CBD” and “hemp” in the news and magazines, on social media and television, many are not quite sure exactly what these terms mean. Confusion and concern about any new product, related to one’s health, often leads individuals to search for their own information.

This need for true facts and information, related to CBD, is why PharmaCare is offering an open event to educate the general public about these products. This open forum will explain what CBD products are, how they differ from medical cannabis (marijuana), and their effects on ailments and conditions that afflict the human body.

The public is invited to attend “CBD…What Is It? Is it Right for You?” educational event on Thursday, September 26, at 7pm at Allegany College of Maryland’s Theatre. Doors open at 6:30pm and there is no charge to attend.

Mr. Balch stated, “We are committed to bringing the community the best healthcare opportunities available. The current trend in CBD offers an alternative therapy for patients.” John continued, “We believe this trend will benefit many patients seeking a way to provide self-care treatment for their maladies.”
