Sidewalk Poetry Contest

Sidewalk Poetry Contest

More About Sidewalk Poetry Contest

Are there any young aspiring poets in your life? Have them enter the Zionsville Cultural District’s Sidewalk Poetry Contest for a chance to be part of Zionsville’s history. The two winning submissions will be stamped into the sidewalk around downtown Zionsville (location determined by the town). We’re looking for short poems with a 6 line limit with no more than 30 characters per line.

The contest is open to all Indiana youth age 17 and under and the two winning submissions will be selected by a panel of judges selected by ZCD. You can enter through May 29 (or postmarked by that date).

Want to check out one of the past winners? Her poem is stamped on the northeast corner outside the Lincoln Park gazebo in Zionsville.

Please let your friends of kids in other communities know about this opportunity!
