More About The Story of Tango

Latin Grammy-winner Pedro Giraudo and his Tango Trio will return as BridgeMusik's special guests for “The Story of Tango.” The Trio will be joined by renowned musicians from Lincoln Center and Broadway orchestras: Tanya Witek (flute), Krystof Witek and Kevin Matson (violin), Desiree Elsevier (viola) and Fred Zlotkin (cello). The program will trace the history of the tango and will include works by Bach, Chopin, Astor Piazzolla and Pedro Giraudo. Pedro’s original tango music has been described as “a very moving, passionate, even daring statement, building a bridge between tango’s glorious past and its even brighter future.” (The New York City Record Review, June 2018). Priority seating for Eventbrite ticket holders (discount for group tickets). Reception following the concert at the historic Tappan Reformed Church.
