Our event celebrates and educates about mental illness and will showcase a mini preview of some client art. These are works of art from client artists living with mental illness in our community that will be available for sale at the 2016 Covington Three Rivers Art Festival on November 12th & November 13th.

  • - NAMI St. Tammany is now accepting registration for the Fall Session of Education Programs. Programs are FREE of charge. Registration is required and spaces are limited.

    Peer-to-Peer provides a safe, confidential setting where individuals can learn more about managing their own mental health. Using lectures, group discussions and interactive exercises, the program can teach participants to maintain a solid recovery by managing stress, preventing relapses, working with providers and gaining needed support. Sessions are led by trained individuals who themselves are living in recovery with mental illness. This 10-week program will meet each Thursday evening beginning September 15, 2016.
