Dollie's Farm is Partnering with Studio You Yoga for a beautiful way to start your day.... saturated with Lavender! The smell of lavender activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the part of our nervous system responsible for relaxation. When this part of the brain is activated, it can calm you down and decrease somatic (physical) symptoms of anxiety. Now, combine the lavender aroma with a relaxing yoga class in the middle of the lavender field -it’s the perfect combination. Studio You Yoga and Dollie’s invite you to join us for this session, filling your senses with the aroma of fresh lavender while concentrating on your breathing to change the physiology of your body. After class enjoy a Lavender Mimosa and Lavender Scone while you cut your own lavender right out of the field. Breathe deep & find your Peaceful Place in a field of lavender. (Event price includes yoga class with experienced instructor, 2 oz. fresh cut lavender, 1 lavender mimosa, 1 lavender scone). The Traveling Tea Room of Rustic Root will be on the farm if you would like to stay for awhile and enjoy lunch on the farm.
