More About JFilm Festival
The JFilm Festival, Pittsburgh’s largest Jewish cultural event, runs April 20–30, both in person and online - so you get the best of both worlds! The festival will showcase 24 exciting and thought-provoking, Jewish-themed, independent feature films from around the world that you won’t see anywhere else. We’ll also host our exclusive Film Schmooze discussions where we chat about some of the films in-depth. Other special events include the April 27th festival premiere of Jack L. Warner: The Last Mogul, the newly updated story of the founding father of the American film industry and his local roots. The film features interviews with Hollywood royalty and great, insider stories about Hollywood’s heyday. Jack Warner’s grandson, Gregory Orr, who wrote, directed, and produced the film, will be at the theater for an engaging talk-back with the audience.
JFilm will screen 20 films in person at three theaters around the Pittsburgh region, along with 4 films screening virtually. For more information, visit FilmPittsburgh.org or email us at info@filmpittsburgh.org.
