More About Tanger Mebane Celebrates Earth Day with a Pollinator Workshop and Exhibit
MEBANE, N.C. (April 3, 2024) – Earth Day is April 22, but Tanger Outlets Mebane plans to celebrate a day early with a fun-filled, family-friendly Pollinator Workshop in partnership with Backyard Butterflies and West Orange Farms on Sunday, April 21 from noon – 4 p.m.
Tanger Mebane will launch its new Butterfly Garden, giving shoppers the opportunity learn about the importance of butterflies and bees and their role to a sustainable environment. In conjunction with the workshop, Painted Grape will have a pollinator-friendly flower planting station. Tanger’s dedication to pollinators in the communities it serves represents just one step in the company’s environmental commitment and sustainability goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
West Orange Farms will also have information on how attendees can start their own beehive and be a part of an ongoing effort to increase the greater bee population locally and around the globe. These pollinators play an important role in contributing to a healthy, balanced ecosystem.
As a TangerClub Gold perk, members can stop by the Tanger Tent located near the event area to receive a special gift.
