Format:
bowlers will bowl 5 games across 10 lanes in qualifying.
The top 5 bowlers will make the cut to a match play like finals. The 5 seed will bowl the 2 seed in a single elimination game, the 4 seed will bowl the 3 seed in a single elimination game, the 1 seed is guaranteed to bowl in the final match. The winners of the two single elimination matches will bowl each other in a single elimination match, the winner will bowl the 1 seed in a one game winner take all match.
This is a scratch bowling tournament meaning no handicap will be provided.
There will be two different oil patterns used in this tournament and both will be difficult sport shot patterns. The left lane will be a short pattern and the right lane will be a long pattern.
This will be a USBC sanctioned tournament and will follow all USBC rules.
The entry fee for this tournament is $125 per bowler. The breakdown of the entry fee will be $100 prize fund - $25 lineage and expenses. The expenses ensure we can run a great competitive event and they are not negotiable.
1:5 cash Ratio
Prize fund returned 100% at the end of the tournament.
The winner will also be interviewed and featured in an article and also be allowed to pick the tournament format of our next major championship.
Side pots will be available
Tournament director has final say in all matters.
